Achievements
Jammu and Kashmir Minerals Limited Corporation:-
- Despite the adverse impact caused due to nationwide lockdown during the first 02 quarters of FY 2020-21 the Corporation not only managed to run the Mining operations (Extraction & sale) but also generated net cash in-flows at following existing Mines of the corporation:-

I. Moghla Coal Mine(Kalakot)
- II. Metka Coal Mine (Kalakot)

III. Kotla Coal Mine (Reasi)

IV. Parlanka Gypsum Mine at Parlanka (Ramban)
- The Corporation has put the following Minor mineral blocks to operation after completing all the formalities (like approved Mining plan, Environmental Clearance, Consent to operate/Establish from PCB, execution of Lease Deed with Department of Geology & Mining) in a time bound manner
- i) Udhampur Tawi River Upstream Salmaya Bridge,Udhampur ( 4.28 hect.) Block :-
- ii) Jammu Jadhkhad upstream Jourian Bridge (Block) (4.58 Hects) block:-
- iii) Samba Devak River downstream NH-1 A Bridge, Block (9.11 Hect.) block:-
- iv) Jammu Chenab River Down stream old Bridge, Akhnoor (9.57 Hect.)
- Presently all the minor Mineral Blocks are functional
- The Production of Gypsum has increased from targeted production of 10,000 MTS to 30,000 MTS per Month and has crossed the record mark of 4,00,000 MTS in the FY 2020-21.
- The Corporation deputed its expedition team during 2020-21 to Sapphire Corundum mines Paddar Kishtwar and retrieved 3195 grams of Corundum. Further, the team for sapphire Corundum mine (Paddar) Kishtwar is scheduled to reach Gulaggarh (Base Camp) in the first week of July 2021.

The Mining Operations (extraction of River bed material) are going on smoothly and the material like sand Bajri etc is supplied to various Government Departments like NHAI. AIIMS, RDD etc. for infrastructure Developmental projects.
